Timirie Shibley is Co-Owner along with her husband, Patrick Shibley of Doo-Dah Diner, located in downtown Wichita and opened in September 2012. Despite having no restaurant experience, she put her lifetime claim of being a foodie to work alongside her marketing and sales background to help build a restaurant known for more than it’s great food, they are also known for giving amazing customer experiences. Timirie was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She attended Southeast High
School and after graduating in 1985, attended Kansas State University. After graduation, Timirie lived mostly in the Kansas City area for the next 25 years and returned home to Wichita to marry an acquaintance from high school, Patrick Shibley. Timirie currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board for the Kansas Restaurant & Hospitality Association, and along with her husband, was named 2017 Kansas Restauranteurs of the Year by the KRHA. Timirie has a strong tie to her
hometown, and prides herself on representing her city to many travelers that find their way to her diner.
