Matt Godinez

Matt was born in Chanute and is a 1998 graduate of Chanute High School and attended Neosho County Community College before transferring to Emporia State University. From 2002 to 2015, he lived in the Kansas City area and worked as an executive in the supply chain and logistics industry. Matt returned home and was hired as executive director of the Chanute Regional Development Authority in December of 2015 . Since joining the CRDA he has been named one of the Top 50 Economic Developers in North America in 2018, Top 40 under 40 in Economic Development in 2019, and most recently named to the Leadership Kansas Class of 2019.
