Each quarter, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes Focus on Prices and Spending, a series of BLS reports that include data from the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Producer Price Index (PPI), International Price (IPP), and Consumer Expenditure Survey (CE) programs. These quarterly reports highlight recent trends in inflation and spending in the U.S. economy. In February, BLS released its fourth quarter 2010 import and export prices report, which included current price topics and price trends. The report discusses the increase in U.S. export prices, and the decline in the world’s grain stockpiles, as well as 2010 price highlights. The most current report is available here.
