Timothy Craft, Ph.D.
Associate Professor & Barton Faculty Fellow in Finance
Dr. Timothy Craft is an Associate Professor of Finance at Wichita State University and the Director of the Koch Global Trading Center in the Barton School of Business.
He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
His research focuses on Institutional Investor Behavior, Real Estate Investment Trusts, and the effect of the Creative Class on regional development. He teaches upper level undergraduate courses in fixed income securities and capital markets, as well as MBA and Executive MBA courses in corporate finance and investments.
Dr. Craft received the Barton School’s Researcher of the Year Award in both 2002 and 2003. For his graduate teaching, Dr. Craft was recognized as the Barton School’s Graduate Instructor of the Year in 2014. As a resident of Wichita since 2000, Dr. Craft is deeply committed to the future economic development and well-being of Wichita and the surrounding region.
